The Hammer Fitness Method

The M.E.D. Approach.

Minimum Effective Dose — we optimise body composition with results that actually last, using the least amount of intervention required to move the needle.

What Is M.E.D.?

The least it takes to change your body.

Most of the fitness industry sells you more — more restriction, more cardio, more extremes. It works, until it doesn't. The moment life gets busy or willpower runs out, the results unravel.

M.E.D. flips that. Minimum Effective Dose is the precise amount of training and nutrition stimulus needed to drive a result — and not a drop more. We find the smallest input that produces real change in your body composition, then protect everything else: your energy, your recovery, and your life.

That's how fat loss becomes sustainable instead of seasonal.

“Anyone can make a plan hard. Our job is to make it work — with the least cost to your life.”

— Amer Kamra, Founder
The Method That Works

Carl followed the M.E.D.

No crash diets. No long, strenuous cardio that's unrealistic and unsustainable. Carl used our M.E.D. method — and the results show, but more importantly, they last.

Less is More

Carl didn't out-suffer the problem — he out-fitted it. We found the smallest training and nutrition dose that kept his fat loss moving, then refined it as his body adapted. The result is a transformation built on a plan he could actually live with — which is exactly why it stuck.

Individual results vary. Every plan and timeline is built around your own starting point, goals, and life.

What's the difference between a suntan and a sunburn?

Both come from the exact same source — the sun. Same stimulus, two completely different outcomes: one is a healthy adaptation, the other is damage that takes weeks to undo. The only thing that changed was the dose.

Too Little

No exposure

Stay out of the sun entirely and nothing changes — no tan, no adaptation, just a missed goal. This is the under-dosed plan that never moves the needle.

The Optimal Dose

A healthy suntan

The right amount of exposure signals the body to adapt — a deeper, lasting change with no damage. This is the Minimum Effective Dose: the smallest input that delivers the result.

Too Much

A sunburn

Overdose the exposure and you don't tan faster — you burn. It takes far too long to recover, and you still never reached the healthy tan you wanted. More wasn't better; it was worse.

Most training methods make exactly this mistake — too much sun, so you spend your time recovering from the burn instead of progressing, or too little, so nothing happens at all. Either way the outcome is the same: a missed goal. The M.E.D. method finds your suntan — the precise dose that creates change without the burn.

Minimum. Effective. Dose.

Three principles that turn effort into efficient, lasting body composition change.

M
Minimum
We identify the least amount of intervention needed to produce the maximum result for your specific situation — so you're never doing more than the result requires.
E
Effective
Every element of your plan has a purpose. Nothing is in there by default — only the training and nutrition levers that actually move body composition for you.
D
Dose
Your optimal dose isn't fixed — it's a living target. We adjust it through ongoing observation and feedback as your body adapts, keeping fat loss moving without ever overshooting.
The Dose–Response Curve
More effort doesn't mean more result. Past your minimum effective dose, the returns flatten — while the cost to your energy, recovery and life keeps climbing.

The Efficiency Model

Efficient isn't the same as effective.

Almost anything is effective in the short term. Very little of it is efficient — and efficiency is what makes a transformation stick.

Effective only

Results at any cost.

A low-calorie crash diet and hours of daily cardio is "effective" — because it produces fat loss. But it costs everything around it, and the second you can't sustain it, the result reverses. Therefore effective is only half the equation; what you should strive for is efficiency.

  • Extreme deficits that wreck energy and recovery
  • Endless cardio you can't keep up forever
  • Total restriction that collapses in real life
  • Fast loss, fast rebound — the yo-yo cycle
Efficient — Our M.E.D. Method

The most result per unit of effort.

Efficiency asks a better question: what's the least we can change to keep fat loss moving — while protecting your energy, strength, and sanity? That's the dose you can actually live with, which is why it lasts.

  • Moderate, livable deficits that preserve muscle
  • Training that delivers maximum return on time
  • Nutrition that flexes with travel, work, and family
  • Slower to overshoot, far harder to undo
Fat Loss Over Time — Crash vs Efficient
The crash diet wins the first month and loses the year. Efficient loss is slower to show, but it holds — because the dose is one you can actually keep.

Why We Build Efficient Results

Your dose factors in you as a person.

Efficiency is only possible when the plan fits your real life. Before we prescribe anything, we account for everything that affects how you respond and recover.

Work Demands
Mental Health
Sleep & Recovery
Family & Life
Stress Levels
Lifestyle Habits
Training History
Capacity & Tolerance

The result: a plan that doesn't just work in a spreadsheet — it works in the context of your actual life. The right dose, refined over time, is what turns fat loss into a permanent change in your body composition.

What Each Approach Costs You
Same goal, very different price. The efficient dose protects the things a crash plan burns through — which is exactly why it survives contact with real life.

Another Transformation

Same method. Same result.

Different person, same approach — the right dose, applied consistently, and protected over time.

The Layer Most Coaches Miss

Where you store fat is a hormonal signal.

Your body doesn't store fat at random. Where and how you store fat is directly influenced by your hormones — and reading those signals is how we unlock the fat that's resisted every other method.

The chest, the love handles, the lower belly — each stubborn site tells a story about your hormones. So we don't just chase the scale or pile on more cardio.

Through our investigation and observation process, we read these signals, interpret your blood work, and work to optimize your hormones to ensure quicker yet sustainable fat loss.

1 · ChestOften linked to estrogen — a higher estrogen-to-testosterone balance tends to drive storage across the chest.
2 · Love handles / obliquesOften linked to insulin — stubborn flank fat tracks closely with insulin sensitivity and blood-sugar control.
3 · Lower abdomenOften linked to cortisol — deep belly fat is closely tied to chronic stress and elevated cortisol.
